Meeting Minutes

1) Call to Order

The meeting was called to order at 7:20 p.m.

2) Roll Call

Attendees: Ann King, Marg Willis, Tim Lalonde, Pierre Gratton and Omer Labelle.

Regrets: Jackie Alguire.

Absent: Luc Leblanc and Marc Dumontier.

3) Agenda

The published agenda was agreed to.

Motion to accept: by Omer Labelle, seconded by Marg Willis. Unanimous-Carried.

4) Review of Previous Minutes

March 3, 2008 meeting.

Motion to accept as amended: by Omer Labelle, seconded by Pierre Gratton. Unanimous-Carried.

5) Executive Reports

President - Ann King

-Cheque for $708.00 from the ball draws given to Vanier Blues Youth League to help with expenses for the Provincial Youth Tournament in May.

-Melanie Cater bowled a 300 and a 681 series on March 28^th. First woman in our association to bowl a perfect game.

-Association Manager and Awards Committee - Next season, a CDTBA Honor Board Score Form will be enclosed in the league kits so league secretaries can submit honor scores to the Local Awards Committee and we can keep our honor board up to date.

-Association Manager and Awards Committee - Rule 57 - CTF League Year End Pins for mens’ and womens’ high series, high game and high average are to be given in accordance with CTF Rule 57. Next season a notice/Rule 57 is to be enclosed with the CTF League Year End Pins so the pins are given to the proper winners.

Association Manager - Marg Willis

-Financial statement and report.

-Association Membership totals 650.

-Reminder AGM notice to be emailed to members.

6) Committee Reports

Website and Website Contest - Pierre Gratton

-Website updated.

-Winner drawn for the Website Contest:

March 2008 winner: Carole Auger

-Pierre will bring all contest entries to AGM for grand prize draw.

Nomination Chair - Luc Leblanc

-No report.

Tournament Report - Tim Lalonde

-Financial statements from the Adult and Youth Association Tournaments were presented and given to the

Association Manager.

-Medals were presented to the winners of the Youth Association Tournament.

-Due to the bad weather, on the final weekend of the adult tournament, the entries were down slightly

from last season.

7) Business From Previous Minutes

CDTBA-AGM and Season Celebration - April 22, 2008 at 6:30p.m.

-Reports to be emailed to Marg Willis.

-Adult Tournament awards ordered.

-Food and door prizes arranged.

-Website contest final draw - purchased ball bag.

-Life membership nomination for Johanne Boucher - Omer Labelle.

Association Manager for Next Season

-Association Manager applications were available to interested persons.

-Selection will be made at the May board meeting.
