5) Executive Reports

President - Ann King

-CTF report dated November 15, 2007 - thirty-seven percent of total CTF membership received and

one-third centers certified. The CDTBA is pleased to be included in these statistics as all initial CDTBA memberships were paid and both McArthur Lanes and Galaxie Lanes were certified by the date of the CTF report.

-The CTF/AGM is on April 19, 2008 in Winnipeg - Questions or concerns to be addressed at the CTF/AGM

can be given to Ann King.

Association Manager - Marg Willis

-Financial statement and report.

-Total of 649 members plus 2 BB’s. Very close to last season, therefore, we have retained our membership numbers.

-New plaque ordered from the OTBA for Eric DaSilveira as there was an error in the plaque for the 2006/2007 season.

-Discussion on a youth bowler who paid for a youth membership and into the season quit the youth league and joined an adult league. The Board agreed that this bowler must pay the difference between a youth and adult membership which in this case is $4.00 ($21.00 - $17.00 = $4.00).

6) Committee Reports

Website and Website Contest - Pierre Gratton

-Update website.

Bowling Clinic - Ann King

Clinic is canceled due to scheduling conflicts. Next season we will have the clinic earlier in the season.

Tournaments - Tim Lalonde

Youth Tournament - February 9 and 10, 2008.

Triple Knockout Strike 9 No Tap Handicap Tournament - February 17, 2008 organized by Roger Sarazin.

Adult Tournament - March 1, 2, 8 and 9, 2008.

Two ball draws during adult tournament - Jackie and John Alguire.

7) Business From Previous Minutes

Ottawa Sports Awards

The CDTBA sent Eric DaSilveiria a letter congratulating him on his nomination as the “Athlete Representing Tenpin Bowling” and purchased a ticket for $50.00 for Eric to bring a guest to the banquet. Eric thanked the association for the nomination and enjoyed the banquet which was held on January 23, 2008.

CDTBA-AGM and Season Celebration

April 22, 2008 at 6:30pm

Same format as last year - AGM (reports, nominations, etc.), food, adult tournament awards and payout, door prizes and website contest final draw.

290 game plates for men and 250 game plates for women to remain the same. Pierre to buy plates as needed.
