Meeting Minutes

1) Call to Order

The meeting was called to order at 7:10 p.m.

2) Roll Call

Attendees: John Alguire, Tim Lalonde, Ann King, Tracey Lalonde, Pierre Gratton and Jackie Alguire.

Regrets: Monique Grenier.

3) Agenda

The published agenda was agreed to as amended.

Motion to accept: John Alguire, seconded Tracey Lalonde. Unanimous-Carried.

4) Review of Previous Minutes

January 21, 2009 meeting.

Motion to accept: Pierre Gratton, seconded Jackie Alguire. Unanimous-Carried.

5) Executive Reports

President’s Report

-Memo sent to league officers in reference to CTF Membership Applications, League Prize List, League

Financial Accountability and Award Submissions.

-In August, when we distribute the kits for next season, have a meeting for all league officers to discuss

duties and general information.

Association Manager

-Financial Report as of February 24, 2009 distributed.

-Refunds to be received from the OTBA. $50.00 for coaching course in Kingston and an amount for the

lane inspector certification course.

6) Committees

MONTHLY BALL DRAWS

-Winner January 2009 – Frank King.

TOURNAMENTS - Tim Lalonde

Adult Association Annual Tournament ready to go.

-Ball draw proceeds, from this tournament, will go to the Youth Program to assist with the expenses in

sending bowlers to the Youth Provincial Championships in May 2009.

Youth Tournament – March 7, 2009. Ray Bullard is Tournament Director. Singles and doubles events.

-Confirmation that we can provide prizes in the form of gift certificates for personal bowling equipment.

Motion by Jackie Alguire: To provide gift certificates for personal bowling equipment, to the maximum

amount of $600.00, as prizes in the association youth tournament. Seconded by Tracey Lalonde.

Unanimous: Carried.

Triple Knock Out – Quille-O-Drome Galaxie – Saturday, March 21, 2009. Tournament Director is

Marco Proulx. $35.00 entry fee. $10.00 lineage.

LANE INSPECTIONS - Ann King

-Quille-O-Drome Galaxie is ready for a re-inspection.

-McArthur Lanes is proceeding with correcting deficiencies.

7) Business From Previous Minutes

TSN Bowling - Pierre Gratton

-Quille-O-Drome Galaxie has not received package. No information to date.

Honor Score Board

-Owen Labelle is working on updating the board.

Community Sports Coaching Course

-In Kingston on February 7, 2009.

-Two attendees from Ottawa.

-OTBA refund of $50.00 to come.

CMC Tournament Bid 2010 – Not submitting a bid.

CTF-AGM in Thunder Bay April 16 to 19, 2009 – The board decided not to send a delegate.

CDTBA-AGM will be Tuesday, April 7, 2009. Same format as last season. Notice to be posted by

March 17, 2009.
