Prix Sportif D'Ottawa : Nomination pour l'année
2014:
Bowling out of McArthur Lanes, Marco had perhaps the best season in his 36-year competitive career in 2014. In a 52-day period, he rolled 3 perfect games to give him 4 career 300 games. One of those perfect games was part of his 3-game score of 836, which was his part of a Canadian record total in the “2-member, 3-game” category. He teamed with former Ottawa Sports Awards winner Dave Wiskowski, who counted 762 pins, to set the national record. Competing in the Roger Sarazin Memorial League, Marco posted a 222 average and won the singles and doubles titles at the Capital District Tenpin Bowling Association’s annual tournaments.
2013 :
Rosalie posted a 225 average in the McArthur Doubles League and a 230 average in the Roger Sarazin Memorial League. As a result, she was awarded the Ontario women’s high average title. Still looking for her first perfect 300 game, she rolled a 283 and had a 784 three-game series last season. A past America zone youth double bronze medallist, Rosalie won the city’s women’s high average and scratch series awards from the Capital District Tenpin Bowling Association in 2013.
2012 :
David is the Capital District Tenpin Association’s premier bowler. He set an all-time, sanctioned Canadian record for nine games, all events, with a score of 2,367 pins. He broke his own record by 100 pins. For the third straight year, David rolled a perfect 300 game, giving him 6 in his remarkable career. He also broke the Capital District’s three-game total of 867, which is only 33 pins off 3 perfect games. Playing out of McArthur Lanes, David has maintained a 200+ average for over 12 years.
