Notice To All Registered Participants of the
Capital District Tenpin Bowling Association
Discussions in reference to closing the CDTBA were discussed at board meetings and the last AGM.  These discussions were the result of not receiving interest in the association manager position, board positions, attendance at the AGM, volunteering, and feedback from registered participants.
If we close, we would have to give up all our assets which include the expensive lane inspection equipment and all bank funds. These items would go to the Canadian Tenpin Federation, Inc. or another chapter (such as Kingston) if they agree to accept our participants.
To keep the association in operation, we must have registered participants involvement.  We need to have an association manager and a full board of an effective composition and size to adequately perform responsibilities, duties, be responsive to our membership, implement new programs and move forward.
Get involved to keep our association local in Ottawa-Gatineau.
